Profile

Dr Moore is a Civil Engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Non-linear soil-structure interaction, and analysis and design of buried infrastructure, polymer structures, and shell structures. Recent research interests include development of design methods for large-scale metal and concrete culverts, identification of limit states for thermoplastic pipes, loading and stability of silos during filling with bulk solids, soil-pipe interaction during pipe bursting, horizontal directional drilling and following sewer repair with polymer liners, non-linear time-dependent models for thermoplastics (pipes and geosynthetics), and load-out tunnel performance under ore stockpiles.
